Building Automation & Controls
Building Automation and Controls (BAC) is responsible for the operation, calibration and maintenance of temperature controls for room comfort and special cooling systems that use chilled water, hot water and steam.

Some of the maintenance services provided by BAC are:

  • Home
  • Control temperatures
  • Repair/replace existing temperature control equipment
  • Adjust air flow to particular areas
  • Establish/check for proper fresh air mix
  • Modify scheduled run times for air conditioning
  • Verify flow on building and laboratory exhaust systems

BAC also assists with remodeled or modified areas by restoring/installing controls and rebalancing the remodeled air supply. These are considered to be chargeable services.
